Susan M. Taffe Reed (Turtle Clan, Delaware), who is from the Endless Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania, graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Colgate University and holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Musicology with a minor in American Indian Studies from Cornell University. She is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Taffe Reed’s research specializes in continuity, change, and revitalization of American Indian music.
